HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Strong Women HTC will be collecting donations until July 28, 2021 for backpacks from pre-K to 12 graders, school supplies, gift cards and/or monetary donations to accomplish our goal. In 2019, we filled 200 backpacks with school supplies for our local youth to get them school-ready. This year, we’re hoping to fill 400 backpacks for our Southeast LA Community students in need. With the Covid-19 pandemic, many of our residents suffered financial hardship. A backpack with school supplies might not seem like much, but for our community it means the world.

Suggestions include but not limited to:

Backpacks (pre K-12)
Notebooks
Pencils
Erasers
Glue (bottle or stick)
Monetary Donations (Checks payable to: Strong Women or electronic payment visit http://strongwomenhtc.com/donations/ )
And other donations are welcome
